The Last Meow
One day I was walking out of my front door, when a neighborhood cat that I had seen time and time again, startled me by jumping off our side fence and making a groaning vocal cat noise. And just on reflex, I flicked my lit cigarette right at the cat (it was pure reflex- I would never purposely hurt a cat.. i love my cat) the cig went right through the cat in a puff of embers, and he was gone without trace. There was no bush he could have jumped in and nothing at all he could have hidden behind. He was Just suddenly gone as if he was never there.. but as God as my witness, that was a ghost cat.
